How did 300 sports bras end up on the walls at SapientNitro?

Well it started by meeting Linda Driscoll and learning about DreamBig! It's an organization created to empower girls from economically disadvantaged communities through sports by providing them with basic clothing and equipment necessary to play. The fact is, when girls are sidelined from sports, they are sidelined from life. 

#SportYourSupport is a campaign aimed to provide girls with one very necessary piece of equipment -- sports bras. It was the biggest need, so we started a drive to donate as many as possible. 

So much of what I learned on the field has stuck with me through life. It became a personal mission of mine to get these girls what they needed. 

Posters lined the halls and were blasted out on social. 

Sports bras were made available for purchase with personalized tags.

And an email campaign and tumblr page shared how sports impacted the lives of women in our community. The real impact? It was shining through in the faces of the girls we rallied everyone to help.
